Strength to Success Initiative

Empowering Survivors, Restoring Independence<Welcome to the Strength to Success Initiative, a transformative program designed to empower marginalized communities impacted by trauma, including Domestic (Intimate Partner) Violence and Sexual Violence. At Kingdom Builders Family Life Center (KBFLC), we believe in providing a pathway to healing and self-sufficiency through holistic support and employment readiness.

What We Offer
This initiative is more than just workforce development; it’s about creating a space where survivors can take a 14-week pause to address their trauma, regain their strength, and prepare for a brighter future. Participants in the Strength to Success Initiative will benefit from:

  • Trauma-Informed Support: Resources and counseling to help participants process and heal from their experiences.
  • Workforce Readiness Training: Skills development, resume building, and interview preparation to ensure a smooth transition back into the workforce.
  • Culturally Responsive Advocacy: Tailored support to meet the unique needs of Black and BIPOC communities.
  • Empowerment-Focused Approach: Encouraging participants to rebuild their lives with dignity, resilience, and confidence.

Why Choose Strength to Success?
Many survivors face barriers to employment due to the trauma they’ve experienced. Our program provides the time and tools necessary to rebuild lives in a way that honors individual experiences and strengths.

  • 14 Weeks of Healing and Growth: This intentional pause allows participants to focus on their well-being while gaining the skills they need to move forward.
  • Dedicated Advocates and Mentors: Our team walks alongside participants, providing guidance and encouragement every step of the way.
  • A Future-Focused Mindset: By addressing trauma and building workforce skills, participants are empowered to achieve long-term independence and success.
