Step Up Housing

KBFLC’s Step Up Housing Program helps move individuals and families who are survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and stalking into stable housing as quickly as possible, maintain stable housing and help provide the necessary support as they rebuild their lives. This support is ongoing, through case management that may include budgeting help, emotional support, and community referrals. The housing program can also provide support for utilities and moving expenses.

Our Program Advocates work to help victims secure housing, specifically in situations where victims and their children are at risk for homelessness. Services include:

  • Case management
  • Direct financial assistance for securing housing
  • In-home case management to improve likelihood of client success
