My WHY is deeply rooted in the promise I made to God the night He saved my life. As a young mother of three, I found the courage to leave behind an abusive marriage and rebuild my life from the ashes. In that moment of despair, I made a solemn vow: to spend the rest of my days advocating for and supporting those who, like me, dare to break free from the chains of domestic violence. For years, I struggled to provide for my children while nurturing the dream of creating an organization that would serve as a beacon of hope for survivors. In 2013, fueled by faith and determination, I turned that dream into reality with Kingdom Builders Family Life Center.
My WHY is unwavering: to be the champion and steadfast supporter of individuals who make the courageous choice to break free from toxic relationships and embark on healing. Every survivor deserves a safe space to heal, grow, and thrive. Through our comprehensive services, compassionate advocacy, and unwavering commitment, we stand alongside survivors every step of the way, empowering them to reclaim their lives and rewrite their stories. At Kingdom Builders Family Life Center, our WHY is more than a mission—it’s a testament to the power of resilience, faith, and the unwavering belief in every individual’s inherent worth and dignity. Together, we will continue to shine a light in the darkness, offering hope, healing, and transformation to all who walk through our doors.“
